Overview
Anita joined Enel Foundation in July 2024. Her main areas of research lay in local and global development, environmental protection and ecosystems services, and social innovation.
She started working in Enel Group back in 2021, following the activities of Group sustainability planning.
In 2020 Anita earned a master’s degree in Environmental and Development Economics cum laude from the University of Roma Tre. A year later, she completed a high-level master program on the management of cooperative enterprises, while collaborating to research and publications on the role of the private sector in ESG integration among corporate practices.
In parallel with her studies, Anita completed in-depth research paths on the interconnected dimensions of sustainability. In 2016 she attended a graduate program at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on environmental economics and sustainable development, and in 2019 Anita completed her internship at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where she carried out research on biodiversity mainstreaming across agricultural systems.
