Fernanda Panvini

Overview

Fernanda graduated with honors in Geology Sciences from the University of Rome, La Sapienza and then obtained a PhD in Chemical and Raw Materials Engineering, Dept. I.C.M.M.P.M from the University of Rome, La Sapienza. She completed the Post Graduate Programme in “Energy Resources Management”, at SAFE, Sostenibilità Ambientale Fonti Energetiche.

Today she is an academic tutor at LUMSA Libera Università degli Studi Maria Ss. Assunta University and a Senior Researcher at Enel Foundation.

She actually joined the Enel Group in 2008, covering various roles in Upstream Gas Division, from 2008 to 2017, mainly representing the Company in meetings with regulators and other stakeholders. From 2017 to 2024, she held positions of increasing responsibility in field of Institutional Affairs and Sustainability, including the management of Circular Economy and Sustainability projects in Italy. 

Between Board Memberships and Industry Leadership Groups, Fernanda was a member of the Board Of Director in Assorisorse – Settore Idrocarburi e Geotermia (Confindustria) and of the Program Committee, and a session chairperson at the OMC Offshore Mediterranean Conference for several years. She is also active in technical working groups: as a coordinator, together with Enea and Politecnico di Torino, of Working Group 4 in ICESP - the Italian Circular Economy Stakeholders Platform; as a partecipant in Tavolo Nazionale Materie Prime Critiche, established from Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy; as a coordinator in Alleanza per l’Economia Circolare.
